Ferrous Metals

Prices fell overall from January to July with a slight increase in March. Prices increased between July and September. They fell slightly in October.
No 1 old steel scrap: 140 – 145
Prices fell from January to July. They rose in both August and September, the fell slightly in October.
No 2 old steel scrap: 140 – 145
Prices fell overall from January to July with a slight rise in March. They rose again throughout August and September but fell slightly in October.
4A low residual bales: 150 – 155
Prices dropped in February and rose a little in March and stayed stable till July. They rose again throughout August and September but fell slightly in October.
4C new production bales: 160 – 170
Prices fell in February and then stayed stable until falling again in June and July. They rose again throughout August and September but fell in October.
Light iron: 90 – 100
Prices dropped in February and stayed mostly stable until August. There has been a slight rise throughout August and September. The price fell in October.
7B mixed steel turnings: 125-130
Prices have been trending downwards from January to July. They rose in August and the price was stable in September but fell slightly in October.
8B mixed steel cuttings: 150 – 155
Prices have fallen since January except for a slight rise in March and between July and September. The price fell again in October.
9 – 10 cast: 135-140
Prices have fallen since January except for a slight rise in March and between July and September.
11 cast iron borings: 115 – 125
Prices dropped from January to July. They rose in August and again September. They fell in October.
Cars: 95 – 105
Prices have fallen since January except for a slight rise in March, August and September.

Prices fell from January till April. They then rose from May till August. They fell slightly during September and October.

Aluminium Cans
Baled or densified and strapped: 680 – 725
The price dropped from January till March and then rose in April and May. It was stable between May and July. The price then rose between July and September and remained stable in October.
Steel Cans
Steel cans (ex-works): 115-125
The price dropped from January until March. It then rose from April to June, dropping again in July. The price rose in August and remained stable in September.
