Paper & Cardboard Recycling Prices November 2014

The prices detailed are ex works, (usually baled) & are in pounds per tonne. These prices are not guaranteed and are meant to be an indicator of market prices. They are compiled by letsrecycle.com.

This is the November  report which details prices up to October 2014.

UK Domestic Mill Prices

Mixed Papers: 33 – 55

Price fell from January to August. They picked up slightly in September but then dipped into October.

Old KLS (cardboard): 58 – 70

Prices fell from January till June and have risen slightly in July. They stayed stable in August,. They rose slightly in September.

They have fallen since September.

News and pams: 82-90

Prices have dropped from January except for slight rises in June and August.

Over/issue news: 83 – 88

Prices dropped from January to March and then rose until June to drop again in July and stayed the same in August and September.

They fell during October and November.

Sorted office waste: 124-128

Prices rose from January to October. They have been stable since.

Coloured best pams: 120-124

Prices have risen since January.

Multigrade: 121-126

Prices rose from January to June and have stayed stable since.

Light letter: 135-140

Prices rose from January to July and have stayed stable since.

White letter: 165-175

Prices rose from January to July and have stayed stable since.

Export Prices

Mixed Papers: 54 – 61

Prices have fallen from January with a rise between July and September and a fall in October.

Old KLS (cardboard): 77 – 80

Prices fell from January till June and have risen slightly between July and September. There was a slight fall in October.

News and pams: 80 – 90

Prices have dropped from January but were slightly higher in May and June. They fell in July and August, but have been rising since September.

Multigrade: 126-130

Prices rose from January to October.

White letter: 195 – 200

Prices rose between January and July. They remained stable until October, when they dipped slightly

Best white 2: 235-243

Prices have rose from January to September but dipped slightly in October.

Merchant Prices

Mixed Papers: 0 – 15

Prices stayed pretty stable up to September but dipped in October.

Old KLS (cardboard): 15-20

Prices fell from January till July except for a slight rise in June. They have remained stable since

News and pams: 25-35

Prices have stayed fairly stable. Rising a little in July.

Mixed coloured office waste: 35-45

Prices stayed quite stable from January to July. They rose from July to August and have remained stable since.

White office paper: 40-52

Prices rose in February and March. They  have stayed stable until August, when the rose slightly. The have remained stable since.
