These are the latest plastic recycling prices for the UK. The prices detailed are ex works, (usually baled) & are in pounds per tonne. These prices are not guaranteed and are meant to be an indicator of market prices. They are compiled by letsrecycle.com.

Plastic Film Prices

These are the latest plastic film recycling prices for the UK.

UK PE Printed: 210 – 240

The price has risen gradually between January and September. It remained stable during September but dropped slightly in October. They fell again in January but rose slightly in February. The price remained stable in March.

UK PP Printed: 65 – 85

The price stayed pretty stable in 2014 up until a rise in June which only partially dropped in October. The price fell in January 2015 but remain stable in February. The price rose again in March.

UK Clear – Natural: 345-385

The price rose gradually from January to August. It has remained stable in August and September and then dropped in October. The price remained stable up until February, when it fell slightly. It remained stable though March.

Export 80:20: 45-70

The price rose between January and July, except for a small drop in March. It remained stable between August and January. It fell in January and fell again in March.

Export 90:10: 90 – 110

The price dropped slightly in October, having  risen gradually from January and then stayed stable from June to January. The price dropped in January but increased slightly in February. The price remained stable in March.

Export 95:5: 160-195

The price fell from September 2014 to January 2015.  It rose in February and then fell slightly in March.

Export 98:2: 250-285

The price rose between January and July apart from a small drop in March. It remained stable from July to January 2015. It dropped in January but rose in February. It fell slightly in March.

Plastic Bottle Prices

Clear and light blue PET: 120 – 160

The price stayed stable from January to May. It dropped in June to rise again in July and drop between August and January 2015. The price increased in February and increased again in March.

Coloured PET: 40-50

The price had risen gradually between January and August. It fell between August and September. It remained stable up until January 2015, when it dropped again. The price increased in February and increased again in March.

HDPE natural: 340-390

The price rose from January to October. They fell from November to January, The price rose in February and has remained stable since.

HDPE mixed colour: 150-160

The price rose from January to May and has stayed stable up until January 2015. prices fell in January 2015 but rose again in February. The price has remained stable since.

Mixed: 70-110

The price was stable from January till March and then slowly rose through to August and October. Prices fell between October and January 2015 but rose again in February. The price has remained stable since.
