These are the latest plastic recycling prices for the UK. The prices detailed are ex works, (usually baled) & are in pounds per tonne. These prices are not guaranteed and are meant to be an indicator of market prices. They are compiled by letsrecycle.com.

Plastic Film Prices

These are the latest plastic film recycling prices for the UK.

UK PE Printed: 210 – 235

The price remained stable during September but dropped slightly in October 2014. It fell in January 2015 but rose in February. The price then remained stable till rising in May and June. Prices remain stable in July but fell in August.

UK PP Printed: 60 – 85

The price stayed pretty stable in 2014 up until a rise in June which was only partially dropped in October. The price fell in January 2015 but rose again in March, May and June. Prices remain stable in July  but fell in August.

UK Clear – Natural: 330 – 370

The price rose gradually from January to August 2014. It remained stable in August and September and then dropped in October. The price then remained stable till rising in May and again in June. They fell slightly in July and again in August.

Export 80:20: 40 – 70

The price rose between January and July 2014, except for a small drop in March. It remained stable between August and January 2015, then falling until April but rising in May and again in June. They remain stable in July but fell in August.

Export 90:10: 105 – 120

The price dropped slightly in October 2014, and then stayed stable until January 2015. It dropped in January but increased slightly in February. They remained stable until May, when they increased. They increased again in June but fell slight in July. The fell again in August.

Export 95:5: 150 – 180

The price fell from September 2014 to January 2015.  It rose in February and then fell slightly in March, rising again in April. They remained stable until July, when they fell slightly. They fell again the August.

Export 98:2: 240 – 255

The price rose between January and July 2014 aside from a small drop in March. It remained stable from July to January 2015. It dropped in January and March, rising in February and April. They remained stable until July, when they fell slightly. They fell again the August.

Plastic Bottle Prices

Clear and light blue PET: 100 – 135

The price stayed stable from January to May 2014. It dropped in June, rising again in July and then dropping until January 2015. The price increased in February and March and then remaining stable until June, when it increased. The price fell again in July and August.

Coloured PET: 40 – 50

The price rose gradually between January and August 2014. It fell between August and September, remaining stable up until January 2015, when it dropped again. The price increased in February and March. It stayed stable until June, when it increased again. The price remained stable until August, when it fell.

HDPE natural: 340 – 390

The price rose from January to October 2014. It then fell from November to January, rising in February, April, May and June 2015. The price narrowed in July and fell in August.

HDPE mixed colour: 145 – 155

The price rose from January to May 2014 and stayed stable up until falling in January 2015. The price has remained stable until July, when they fell slightly. The price fell again in August

Mixed: 50 – 90

The price was stable from January till March 2014 and then slowly rose through to October. Prices fell between October and January 2015 but rose again in February. The price then remained stable till rising in May. The price remained stable until August, when it fell.
