Static Roll Packer Rental

Roll packers are extremely useful pieces of kit for compacting materials like wood, pallets & plastics. They are also a significant capital investment.

Entire recycling offer a range of attractive rental options for roll packers enabling companies to get the benefits of reducing transportation costs & maximising rebates without the capital costs. We can help you find a cashflow-positive means of helping you get the right equipment & add to your bottom line.

Benefits of Roll Packers

There are significant benefits to having a roll packer:

  • Reduction of waste transportation costs – roll packers can increase the tonnages of material for transportation by crushing them. They can achieve results of between 5 & 10 to 1 depending upon the  type of packer used. That means that you can reduce your skip lift costs by between 5 & 10 times as more material will go into each skip or container
  • Increase in rebates – for rebatable material, a greater rebate is due when the recycling company offering the rebate can reduce their transportation costs. If the recycling company is able to pick up 5 – 10 tonnes per load instead of one, transportation costs are minimised

Rental Benefits

There are a number of benefits to renting machinery from Entire:

  • We are extremely confident in our equipment. We install it & keep it working for our clients so they have nothing to worry about
  • Choice – we offer a huge range of recycling equipment
  • Simplicity – we help you get the right equipment in & to ensure you will be cashflow-positive
  • Savings – we can make a difference to businesses whose transportation costs are tens of pounds a week. The bigger the waste management costs, the more we can help
  • Training – we provide full training & certification on all our machinery
  • Flexibility – we offer a range of rental options from 12-month rolling to 5-year options & a range of options from service only to full maintenance
  • Price match guarantee – like-for-like, we will match any price
  • Fast repair, response & reduced downtime  – we have a team of 19 engineers around the UK & aim to get to you fast if there’s a problem
  • No hidden costs – our rental agreements are simple. One page listing the equipment & costs & one listing the terms
  • Site surveys – we are happy to come & look at your site in order to make recommendations of how you might save costs
  • We will buy your material – we’re not interested in just selling machinery, we want our clients to benefit from the machinery they get & we will offer to purchase your material from you too

A roll packer will typically offer a 5 to 1 compaction ratio: for every tonne you managed to fit in a container before, you can now get 5, saving transportation costs and maximising available rebates.

Transportation Cost Savings

Here are our calculations:

  • Typical containers hold 2 tonnes of wood.
  • Typical transportation costs might be £150 per lift
  • Typical disposal costs might be £70 per tonne

2 collections per week

  • Transportation: £15,600
  • Disposal cost: £14,560
  • Savings resulting from a roll packer installation (assuming a conservative 8-tonne collection): £11,700

That’s a reduction in transportation costs from £15,600 to £3,900

4 collections per week

  • Transportation cost: £31,200
  • Disposal cost: £29,120
  • Savings resulting from a roll packer installation (assuming a conservative 8-tonne collection): £13,000

That’s a reduction in transportation costs from £31,200 to £7,800

Based upon these figures, a roll compactor can pay for itself very quickly. On a rental, the machine can be cashflow positive immediately.

See the image below to show how effective a roll compactor can be.
